SOURCE: oil / gel leak

If it is coming from your motors, it could be very bad. i.e. motor replacement. Sometimes on the side of those motors there is a black plastic cap about the size of a quarter or half dollar, those fall out sometimes and allow gearbox grease to come out. This should`nt be confused with your motor brush caps which are about the size of a pea and have a small **** in them for a screwdriver.DO NOT TAKE THESE OUT.  If the large cap has come out just stick it back in. If you can`t find it you`ll ned to call a dealer to get the part replaced.    If you can still find no prob, your probably going to have to go to a dealer.

SOURCE: i have oil leaking onto the left side tire of my

Sounds like you have a blown seal on your left gearbox. The only permanent solution is to replace the left brake/motor gearbox assembly. Not exactly a do-it-yourself repair. to verify, you can pull the seat off to inspect with a flashlight or tip the chair up at 45 degrees on the right drive wheel to inspect.
In my experience this is a common problem. It may take some time for enough gearbox grease to ooze out and cause the gearbox to fail. If you run the chair inside the house it will get messy very quickly and the grease stains are difficult to remove. If the chair is upwards of 4 or 5 years consider replacing left and right motor/gearbox assemblies. Hope this helps.

I have a Invacare Pronto. It has begun leaking a black fluid. What might this fluid be and what needs to be done to correct the problem?

That sounds like oil. You can park it on newspaper taped together, mark the front and back edge of the tires on the paper and then roll the Proto off. That will show you the exact location.

There are many models of 'Pronto'.

How do I reprogram my invacare pronto m51power chair

You will need to contact a service tech in your area to do this. They should have a special programmer box that can adjust the settings on the chair to improve the chairs performance.

Yellow blinking light what does this mean on pronto M41 invacare?

The AMBER service indicator will light when an error or fault occurs. This is a yellow wrench shape. Refer to Diagnostic Codes on page 33 for a listing of the flash codes and what they indicate:

How do I turn off the pronto m41 speed limiter

Hello,

The Pronto M41 does not have a speed limiter per say. If the chair used to go faster than it does now then you may have some kind of problem with the chair. If the chair has always driven' slow, that is slower than the maximum 3.5 to 4 MPH then a Invacare Remote programmer is needed to program the chair to go it's full speed.
Seek a Invacare dealer and ask them if they can check the programming.

I have an invacare Pronto M51 Surestep power chair from 2008. I need the swing out foot rests in the red color. Can someone help me with this situation and what would they cost-thank you

If you have had swing away footrests on this chair you can replace them with model PHW93 and must ask to get them in red when you order them from a wheelchair store. If you dont know where a store is that sells Invacare products, call Invacare customer service at 800-333-6900.

Ya i have one of them wheelchair it ran great till the battery not charge good then i notice the right side it was leeking red fluid i ask the place i got it from they say get ride of it cause im ready for...

Well if Medicare purchased your chair and it is 5 years or older you are eligible for a new chair. The problem with your chair besides batteries is a leaking plug on your gearbox attached to the motor. These cannot be fixed so it requires a new motor/gearbox assembly. Just as soon get a new chair because Medicare won't want to pay the costs of repair when you can get another chair. Hope this helps
