that error can be related to the transport assy that you pull out not going back in properly. make sure you push it back in firmly so it locates into the connectors in the rear properly. the manual says a problem with the primary corona unit but my experience is the tray. tis is a common problem even on the new models ir9000 series that use the same set up.

Well it is the correct code for fans, but other parts as well connected to the fan.

Code: 532
Description: Laser unit fan error
The motor lock signal error is detected for 10 seconds after the motor lock signal was first detected.
Causes:• Defective laser unit fan • Disconnected or defective harness • Defective drive board • Defective BCU
Remedy:1. Check or replace the harness. 2. Replace the laser unit fan. 3. Replace the laser unit fan motor. 4. Replace the DRB. 5. Replace the BCU.

Description: STP Move Motor fails to move from HP
At initial rotation, when the Motor rotates for specified period of time and cannot move from HP, it is detected as an error if the same symptom occurs again after the first retry.
Remedy: 1. Check if the Motor (M1) Connector is physically removed. 2. Check if the Motor failure occurs. 3. Check if the Stapler Move HP Sensor (S10) Connector is physically removed. 4. Check if the Stapler Move HP Sensor (S10) failure occurs.

This is normally a finisher error code, normally the stapler shift error, depending what sub code after the 532 code display, remove finisher to verified that the code goes away.
