If you look at the keys in question, you will notice that the U has a 4, I has a 5, O has 6, J has a 1, K has a 2 and L has a 3. These keys are part of the embedded numeric keypad that is turned on when NumLk is on. On the keyboard (usually at the top edge beside the Caps Lock indicator) is a NumLk indicator that looks like a little padlock with a number in its middle. It will be lit or a led directly under it will be lit when NumLk is on. To turn NumLk on or off (toggling) usually requires pressing and holding down the Fn key then momentarily pressing one of the function keys at the top edge of the keyboard which has the letters NumLk on it.

NUMBER LOCK
You have press the NumLk key (number lock) and this changes the right hand keys to a number pad.
Press the NumLk key (also doubles as the ScrLk key to toggle the Number lock). it is near the F12 function key. When the NumLk has been enabled a LED light is turn on to indicate this function has been selected. Press the NumLk key again to turn off the Number Lock and Num Lock LED indicator.
