Mini fridge thermostat repair - U-Line 15R Compact Refrigerator

Some of the many reasons a mini fridge may not be running properly could be due to an issue in the sealed system, a failed compressor, failed evaporator fan motor, condenser fan motor, or a thermostat. Other issues could range from evaporator coils, start relays, the control board, or a restriction in the drier filter.

Does the compressor run?If not, check start relay. Getting power? Thermostat any good?

Yes, thermostat and when they go bad they eiter sop , keepgetting colder or out of calibration, I will see if I can find one, Really any small two wired refrigerator thermostat wil be fine, Sea Breeze

Feel the compressor top is it running? no? If no unplug and jump the two thermostat wires and if runs replace thermostat. If compressor is running and not cooling there may be a freon leak inside the walls of fridge or inside the evaporator. Sea Breeze

In a mini fridge there are only two wires to the thermostat. I really does not matter which wire goes were because all it does is turn it off and on. Sea Breeze

Unplug and look for the thermostat control. Try jumping the thermostat wires together. If it runs then replace the thermostat. Also feel the compressor to see if running, they run very silently. Thanks, Sea Breeze
