Any compatible software for vista 64-bits? or any solution??

Hi, i have a hp laptop, vista home premium 64-bit, and im trying to install the latest benq 4300 driver but cant get it to work, is there any other drivers i should download or are there any other softwares that are compatible with vista and use benq 4300 scanner?

Go to control panel.
Open up device manager.
Find the benQ drivers that exist. If there is a yellow triangle by them with an exclamation point, it means that the software is not working.
Uninstall the drivers, regardless of whether they are damaged or not.

Go to the action menu, and click on "scan for hardware changes"
If driver software exists, vista should be able to find it and install automatically.

If the benQ 4300 scanner is a really old model, it may not work.

Software incompatibility on my acer aspire6930-6455
Well, we wont know until you try. In my opinion, your 32/64 bit issues will be solved, but you would still have the normal vista/xp compatibility issues.

But that is to be expected, like when we all upgraded from win98 to XP.

So - I would recommend downgrading to Vista 32 bit, or getting the 64bit software version of the programs you want to use.
