Since a week, it stopped responding for a minute or so........... but today it has stopped fully............ any help
It is very rare problem, but it is possible. You can order the touchpad part at eBay (for +/- $15), read the service manual (how to assemble and disassemble the HP Elitebook 6930p), buy some screw drivers at local electronic store or home improvement store, watch some video clip on Youtube.com if necessary, then install the touchpad.
Usually caused by liquid spill.Find a disassembly tutorial and clean all terminals, any components on the motherboard related to mouse operation and ribbon connections.Isopropyl is the recommended cleaning fluid.Good luck.
