Check the usb drivers by clicking start> right click on my computer >system >hardware>device manager
(in vista just type it in the search bar)
and check the usb drivers by clicking universal serial bus controllers and check if they have an ! sign.
if they do uninstall them and click scan for hardware changes and install the usb drivers again.
If this doesn't work, uninstall then install the usb drivers using the motherboard cd.
or try it to another pc if it works.
or ask for a refund or repair(if it is in warranty it's free)

Can't add or remove music off my Sansa Rhapsody 2GB

first try this...

1 put on hold and hold record button while u turn on (your sansa is now in recovery mode)
2 connect your sansa to your comp via usb cable a box should show up saying the firmware version
3 close the window and disconnect your sansa (it will restart)

if that doesnt fix your problem try this...

1 connect your sansa to comp via usb cable
2 right click start on windows desktop go to explore
3 scroll down to your sansa's drive rifght click it go to properties
4 go to tools tab and click "check now" under error checking will take awhile and will erase your memory on the sansa but it will work again

I hope my post was helpful let me know!!!!

Cant get songs onto my Sansa e280 player =[

"Refresh database" is a normal message that you will get everytime you unplug the Sansa from the computer - don't worry about that aspect.

If the songs that you have transferred have DRM encryption on them, they may not play right (or at all) on the Sansa.

If you have Windows Media Player 11, I would get the firmware update from the Sansa website AND format the Sansa inside Windows Media Player:
for the firmware,
for the format, http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything and get your player functioning normally.

Sansa e260

You need to do the following:
1. Go to recovery mode by setting the hold mode to hold ,then press record button and power/menu button.
2. Connect to computer with USB cable as per meassage on sansa
3.Download an mi4 file from http://daniel.haxx.se/sansa/mi4.html for your model
4. copy this mi4 file to the 16MB partition that appears for your sansa.
5. Disconnect then power down and on again.

Sansa c250 not working at all!

2 Suggestions: 1) It may be that the battery isnt charged, let the unit charge fully 2) If that doesnt work, its probably time to send the unit back to sandisk
