I turned off my computer last night and now it won't turn on.

It sounds to be a panel fault. Contact any service technician, and make it sure. If you wish to get some screen-shots about faulty displays http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ check this link. Pull up previous posts there, either by its left side bar, or view it in Timslide option.

Check to make sure the power switch on your surge protector hasn't been reset - also check the connection at the back of the computer -

I suggest you to update the display adapter.
Steps to update display adapter.
i. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
ii. Expand display adapter and right click on the sub item and click update driver.

Is it repairable, well, this question can be answered only after opening the back cover and evaluating the damage. From you side, please connect the TV to a different power outlet where other similar devices are working and see. Then try changing the input device to something that sure works. If it does not work even then, this may need attention by a qualified service technician.

If the green light blinks count the blinks it tells you something

Question, can you hear hdd spinning or anything going on inside the case? the Green light onte back usually tells you that the powersupply has power going in, not necessarily that the powersupply is giving power out to the other components. You could have a bad powersupply on your hands.

Try taking on the back of the monitor and pulling the power plug all the way out of it for about five minutes and then plug it back in and restart the computer see if it solved it thanks

hi....Your micro chip is faulty check the voltage comming out of the 42nd leg it shuold be 13 volts dc if you are not getting that voltage replace the microchip.and the eeprom IC....

Unplug the TV set, after a few minutes, plug it back again. If you are lucky, the TV will be okay!
