You either have a bad turntable motor, or else a bad (broken) shaft coupler.

Is there an option via the Help or Custom Help to turn the turntable off and off?
This feature is common in over the range models.
Otherwise, it may be a bad motor.
You can see and hear a video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPSWi_z7M58
If yours won't rotate or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or plastic coupler.
To replace either, you need to unplug power, then remove the bottom cover of the oven, as you're looking up from the stove top.
Please write back with your model number if you need further help.

The floor will have to be sanded smooth and
clean and dried thoroughly.
Then you can apply some
high-temperature appliance paint, available from places like Wal-Mart,
Lowe's or Builder's Square.
I would then leave the door open to let it dry untouched overnight.
You didn't mention your oven's brand or model, but it may be that the wheels on the turntable support are worn or there may grease built up in the axles.
Or you may need a new turntable support.
If you need to order a new one, please reply back with your brand and model number so we can help point you to the proper distributor.

SOURCE: Turntable won't stop
Sounds like a door switch problem or stuck relay contacts on the control PCB. Do the light and fan run too or just the T/T??
If you were to log on to the
manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as
usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer
Instruction Manuals, list
of Dealers for spare part supplies as required.
The information is normally free of
charge.
I hope this helps.
I suspect the turntable motor has failed.
