Check that your set is set to the correct source. if one source doesn't work another should, say a dvd player. if a dvd player gives you a picture then either the connection or cable you are using is bad, possibly the tuner. it sounds like a connection problem to me.

SOURCE: digital channels have stopped working, only blue screen!

Try resetting the TV:

  1. Switch on TV and switch to any analogue channel.
  2. On the TV: Press and hold the MENU button.
  3. Menu screen will appear on the display.
  4. Do not release the MENU until the menu screen disappears.
  5. TV will go blank for about 60 seconds and then display initial set up screen.
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to re-tune the TV.
If this does not work then the problem is likely to be a loose ribbon cable or main small signals board inside the TV.

Why doesn't it turn on?

The problem could be internal power supply failure. The blue light merely indicates power is getting to your TV.

Coby television turn

Be sure that your TV is in the TV-channel mode and not in the Video more. Some TV in Video mode are only displaying black screen.

Turn tv on. green light solid display, no picture or sound

The flashing green light is likely indicative of a self-test failure, indicating the TV has detected some sort of internal fault. With no picture or sound, one strong suspect is the power supply. Flat-panel TV's have an internal DC power supply that converts the inbound AC current, and when these fail, or are unable to supply a minimum level of power to the set, it can behave as you describe, providing only enough power for the green light to illuminate.

Yes, you need an antenna -- rabbit ears or some other type of digital antenna.

Tv screen has turned blue and I can't watch tv

i think by accident you have changed the input when you went to change the volume. look for a button labeled " input" or "video" select on the remote and scroll through the various choices. you should get your picture back.

Power went out while tv & Direct TV was on

The garbage on your unused channels are not important, just artifacts from signals not strong enough to produce a picture.
The 'blue screen' on #3 is what many sets use when they sense they are connected (terminated) to 'something' but not receiving any signal.

If sounds a lot like DTV's receiver took a hit.

If you have a second set you can borrow or drag to the receiver, try it first but I don't think it is your problem unless the cable input on it was zapped.
