When someone receives a fax from me it has a blank line down the middle of the page

fax delivery problems are not clear, it is a problem on the line or problems at the head of the printer or ink for machines that use ink or printer heads printer or a problem on the machine. to identify you to do troubleshooting.
1 - Make a copy of the document using the machine, if the copy is made there is no problem, this means that the head of the printer or the ink does not have a problem.
2 - use another machine to identify the problem line and engine problems.
- If the problem remains the same, it is a problem on the line but, otherwise, your machine needs to be done further examination, it is likely there is a problem rj11 port.

Dear Donna,
When a document is scanned from the top portion of the printer, it will loop around and output from underneath. The scanning glass on the far left side will have some debris on it. Lift the the lid exposing the glass portion, inspect for "stuff" on the glass, perhaps pen or white out. You can use a mild soap and lightly dampened cloth to remove any debris.
Good Luck,
Pre

Single narrow black vertical line about 1 3/4 inches from right side of copy. Line runs the entire length of the copy. Happens only during copying color or black and white.

Hello,

The line issue is caused by something on the image sensor. To get to it and clean it just pull the front up where you put the paper into it to scan. Inside you will find a glass strip, this is the image sensor. Use a paper towel dampened with window cleaner and gently scrubbing the glass strip, After cleaning the strip let it dry for a minute or teo before you close the cover and try a scan. It should be clear and should copy great again.

I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.

How to restore manufacture setting on 18D Avaya phone

It's not that simple. You can clear all the non line buttons from a set by pressing FEATURE 00 , the button and MIC/HFAI. Line selection and line appearance is programmed from Centralized programming on the main phone(s). You can also use COPY commands to make a phone behave like another.

Blank line down left side of outgoing fax or feeder copy

The most common cause of blank (void) lines on a scanned document is from whiteout on the glass where the page is scanned when using the document feeder.
If there is a clear mylar sheet on the bottom of the document feeder, the whiteout may be there instead.

If there was dirt or a dark smudge on the glass (or mylar), it would show up as a black line, but whiteout is white, and shows up as a void (blank) line.
