if it is made for that size battery, yes. if the px20 is not made for that size/voltage then either it will not work right due to not physically fitting, or having the incorrect voltage.

Locate the reset button (probably in the battery compartment) and use a paperclip to press the button. That's what I had to do for my Brookstone travel clock.

CTL is the designation for a rechargeable secondary battery. The CR is a primary disposable battery and is a 3 volt cell. The CTL1616 while the same size as the CR1616 function completely differently and are not interchangeable. The CTL1616 is 2.3 volts and is recharged by solar or light or kinetic movement. The CR1616 is 3 volts is not rechargeable and will not function properly in a time piece designed for a 2.3 volt circuit. There is only one manufacturer of the CTL1616, Panasonic and they sell through Casio parts distribution.

The lithium button cell is under the metal plate where the battery holder attaches. There are six screws holding the plate to the camera. I believe the cell is a CR-2025.

That being said, replacing the lithium battery will only restore the cameras ability to remember your settings and frame counter when the regular batteries are not on the camera. It will not restore functions of the camera.

If the camera is not functioning properly, you have a power problem with the main batteries, not the memory backup cell
