Question about Electrolux EWDW6505GS Fully Integrated Dishwasher with 9 Wash Cycles, Nylon Racks, Wave-Touch Contro... 24 in. Built-in Dishwasher
What does the error mean? Is this something I can fix myself? How?
Danby DDW611WLED Error code E-1 is for water supply not correct. Found it was the drain hose that was plugged and cleared it. Dishwasher was beeping and could not pump out the water. Power stays on and can't be turned off except by opening the door. Working fine now.

Good Morning Brian,
I understand that you are receiving an error code 1 on your Electrolux dishwasher, model# EWDW6505GS. Error 1 is stating that water has been detected underneath the tub. Check underneath your dishwasher by taking off the kick plate below the door. If you do not notice any water underneath the tub or any types of leaking, I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker for 20-30 minutes. When the time has passed, restore power, and run any cycle. If you are still receiving error code 1, I suggest you contact your local authorized technician for further assistance. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

SOURCE: What does L1 error code mean on an Electrolux
The only solution I can come up with for this one is that L1 is a Leak Detector problem-When water is detected under the tub. I spent an hour researching this issue. I've never come across this one before.
