It is likely to be the oven element that is faulty, if the fan is working o/k, then replacing the element should solve the problem. it is located at the rear of the oven compartment, where the fan is.
if there is no visible sign of fixing scews in the oven for the element or cover, then you are going to have to access it from the outside rear panel of oven.
Hope this helps you.

HI I HAVE CANDY OVEN FDP299 231/1 THE BACK FAN HITS THE COVER IS THE FAN WORN OUT BECAUSE IT IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD

I trust that you are talking about the fan forced fan hitting the safety cover. The clearances between the fan blade and the guard are normally small. Sometimes the heat can warp the fan or cover causing both to come into contact. If you are handy you can normally bend the cover or the fan back into place without too much effort.

My candy oven r43/3xuk wont switch on. The power

If the fan is working o/k then it is likely to be a faulty oven element if it is a
electrically heated oven.
If it were the timer, not even the fan would work.

Volume control candy oven timer

Switch off the oven, leave for 5 seconds and switch it back on.
Candy Customer Services asked for over £100 to have an engineer sent to my house, which I refuse as I thought the oiven was good.
I had to switch off all the electricity in the kitchen but after this 'reset' the oven turned to the normal 'high' volume.
