An oven that is not heating up and that won't heat up is usually the result of an igniter being faulty for a gas ovens or heating elements for an electric ovens. If both your gas oven and your gas burners have stopped working then the problem is most defiantly with the gas line and will have to be fixed from someone that repairs ovens and stoves.
* Thermostat problem or burnt out heating element.
* Check your warranty and call for service.

The hum may be a b ad regulator in the stove. Pull stove out and see if regulator is humming. It's where the gas line connects to stove.
Maybe the power was interupted to the stove which may have reset power to control board.
With a gas range, I wouldn't fool with it. Get a service man out there now! Gas stoves are great untill they malfuntion and need a qualified service person to check it out. It's cheep insurance if there is a gas leek causing the problem. The alternitive-------!

you most likely have a bad oven ignitor...if you see an orange glow under the oven panel that is your ignitor trying to come on....but if it is weak it will not open the gas valve.....acess the ignitor and replace it
