Take out the battery, leave it out for 5 minutes, put it back in and turn it back on.
I'd suggest uninstalling the Facebook app entirely, then re-installing it from the app store and trying again.
Preferrably reset your password from a computer instead.

Pull out battery. Hold power button for 15-25 secondscthen put in battery and try again.
