Possibly the color wheel which is not available, you have to go with the optical engine which is part#: 938P015020
This would make repairs UNECONOMICAL

OR any one of 5 fans:
Chassis fan & Lamp fan: 299P288010 $20.00
http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=299P288010

PBS fan: 299P296010
Ballast fan: 299P287010 $25.00

Mitsubishi wd 62527 makes a grinding noise but the picture is ok

possibly 1 of the fans has noisy bearings.

otherwise color wheel bearings going out and is not available, must get complete light engine
pt# for WD-62527 938P015020 $629.66
http://www.tvserviceparts.com/938P015020.html

Economically the fans are not too bad, but the light engine would not be cost effective. To determine which fan may be causing the noise, you just have to listen closely to tell which one. or replace all 5 fans for a total of $188.81. you might want to replace the unit with a New LED TV. Replace TV is my recommendation. This unit is too old & antiquated to put this kind of money into it!!

My tv a mitsubishi d 62527 the green light kees blinking

Called the blinking green light of death---set should if power lost when put back blink for 70 seconds or so---digital unit booting up.

About the only simple cause is in the main power supply are four 1000 uf caps that puff up and fail--provide boot up voltage.

follower power cord to supply and look for bad caps (they will be easy to spot) and see attached photos of what to look for.
