When "ON", it will go from setting to setting. i.e. finish "normal", run "permanent press", then run "gentle". If off, the timer keeps turning (doesn't run cycles, just turns).

I would first check the lid switch and the plunger that pushes the lid switch. If both are good I would make sure the machine is washing properly. If the machine will not wash or spin you have a bad coupling. If the washer will wash then stop at the spin it is usually a bad lid switch, or transmission. The transmission will have a 5 year warranty. It is also possible that you have an object stuck under the main wash tub. You can remove the cabinet and look for objects or you can remove the wash basket itself. Good luck with your repair.

Hi my name is joyce, sounds like you have trash in you water filter that is in your water line that comes in your machine in the back of washer, this may be the cause for the slow water and the timer will cause the machine not to advance to the next cycle, if you would like I will help to find a service techincian.

It sounds like you have a blocked pump. I have read that the pump is connected directly to the motor. You will need some tools at hand before you try to disconnect the pump from the motor.
Make sure that you disconnect the machine from the power supply. Tilt the machine back to access the pump from the bottom of the machine. It will be connected to the motor with clips. Have some towels ready to mop up the water.
I hope this works for you.
