When you unpack the drum it has like a white nylon and three orange plastics. Remove the three plastics(tapes are holding the plastics) and at the end remove the white plastic it has an arrow. Do not touch the drum. Make sure not to much light hits the drum. You have four drums remember to sit correctly the drum and to its correct position.

Most of the times the color background is a drum issue. The bigger the temperature, the more you will see this effect. There is a setting in the printer's menu, it's call BG Setting. Print the configuration menu to find it.It reduces or increases the background toning. Try this.
