ThermoKool MR138 I need to give myself a shot everyday with a pen that must be kept between 36 degrees F and 46 degrees F. I have been researching the ThermoKool MR138 but I wonder if it will keep a consistent 40 degrees?

To keep a constant 40 degrees the fridge would have to be running 24/7. Any fridge will maintain the 40 degrees but in your case, if you are going to be travelling, you should be looking at a fridge that can run on mains and battery power. It might even pay you to invest in an extra battery, dedicated to the fridge and charged by mains power and/or the vehicle alternator.

You have either a sealed system problem or a control board problem. It's difficult to know which is which. You will need a qualified technician to determine what the problem is.
Good luck

You should have applied common sense & done more
research. Your lucky if you get 25 to 30 mpg anytime

It is all about advertising, to get your money, that's all,

Every one buying any vehicle, knows you never get close
to the MPG on the window sticker. That is a corporate

Insufficient cooling with window air conditioner

The air conditioner should be big enough. It is hard to say whether or not the 46-47 degrees is right as you did not give a room temperature. The first thing to do before installing a used unit is to thoroughly clean it. Use your garden house to rinse both the evaporator and condenser coils. Also ensure the filter is clean. If the unit is still not cooling properly it likely needs a shot of refrigerant. Beyond cleaning the unit I would not recommend other do it yourself fixes.

Hi I deal with Samsung everyday. Can you not go back to the store where you bought it. their customer service team should be able to push a bit more clarification from Samsung. Also a lot of stores will have a policy where if the unit is away for repair for more than x amount of days/weeks the customer is entitled to a new prduct. Worth a shot!

DO YOU NEED BOTH AC AND DC CORDS TO MAKE IT WORK?

one cord is all you need if it works . the ac cord might be bad . but most likely the cooler is bad ..... i am a ****** for these coolers i have had a few (4) i have none now all of them burned up and stopped working or cooling and when it does work all you get is 20 degrees below outside temp every time does not matter if its the one i bought in 1990 ( that kept killing my battery) or the last one i had bought in 2005 that one was better it cooled 25 degrees below the temp in the truck a little cool but hardly close to cold and lasted about 6 months ........ dont spend a lot on a cord , you will be sorry .... myself i think i will wait another 10 years or so before i try again ... good luck

Does it really cool to 40 degrees

Many of the beverage coolers that run on the 'solid state' principle will work...provided the temp in the car is not more than 70 degrees. You can get one at any auto supply store for 40-100 dollars.
