I have no picture and light flashes 5 times

My Sony KDS-60A2000 was purchased on February 11, 2007. We had the bulb replaced November 26, 2008. Now, the power light is blinking 6 times. Although we have a 5 year in home maintenance with replacement TV, is it even worth fixing? Seems like if we are going to have issues every year, we should have them replace with like priced TV. Help?

If I remember correctly, this may mean that the bulb needs to be changed.

If you pull the right side out (as you look at the front), get you ear down to the fan exhaust area and turn the set on. If you do not hear the fan turn or feel air being blown out, then you have a defective fan. It is a common problem.
