Parts We have a 6 yr old Crosley Conservator dehumidifier that we need to replace the fan on. where can we find this fan?

Have you noticed it not running as often or not being noisy? Also have you tried to select a continuous drain setting if your unit has one?

Shinn, I'd say you've gotten your monies worth out of 6 year old dehumidifier. Most of the time, it's more expensive in the end, to repair one than it is to purchase a new one. With that said, I'd vote for purchasing a new one. Just take as good of care of the new one as your did the old one. Obviously, you performed preventive maintenance on the old one and that's very important. Which makes you the exception to the rule, that most consumers don't take care of what they have and are astonished when an appliance fails.

most dehumidifiers will freeze up when it gets below 70 degrees. if where you are running it is below 70 degrees, then you need a different style. whirlpool makes a model specifically designed to run in colder climates. best buy or other that has whirlpool stuff.
