Question about Sanyo Audio Players & Recorders
SOURCE: tape stuck
The only thing you can do, is to try to open it up very slowly.
The thing keeping the door closed is the tape that is probably wound up around one of the drive pins (silver pins),
Your tape is most likely ruined unless you know how to splice a tape back together.
After getting the door open, I would take a Q-Tip and some rubbing alcohol and clean the silver drive pins and also the pinch rollers.
This should help reduce the jamming problems if there isnt any other problems causing the drive pins to not turn. IF the pins are not turning, then it could be a broken belt problem.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Sanyo (System 560) Integrated Amplifier - Double Cassette Deck
Sanyo Stereo (System model DCX-560) Integrated Amplifier/Tuner/Double Cassette Deck - button to open cassette door latch doesn't eject the cassette tape & the cassette play button doesn't work since the tape had been playing until it got stuck inside the cassette deck & I popped the cassette door open to remove the cassette tape & cannot get the eject button to open the cassette door - also Sanyo Speaker (Bass model SS-340) doesn't work - I've tried reconnecting the wires to the speaker (still not working) how can I test the speaker to see if it works (since it had been working before)?
I found the same Sanyo Stereo model DCX-560 to verify the type on eBay athttp://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-SANYO-AM...
I found the same Sanyo Speakers model SS-340 to verify the type on Craigslist athttps://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/ele/445... - except my Sanyo Speakers are better condition
