SOURCE: I have a HP LP2065 monitor, and it is currently

Hello

OK, firstly, this problem can be due to a couple of factors. I will explain it in as much detail as possible.

Internal cracked LCD:

This is the most probable cause for these lines on the screen. Unfortunately this is not something which can be fixed without replacing the whole screen.

Damaged DVI cable:

A faulty DVI connection between the computer and the LCD screen will also cause this symptoms.

Faulty Graphics Adapter:

Lastly, this can be due to a faulty graphics adapter. If you use the on-board adapter, i would suggest that you first test the graphics adapter with another screen. Also, take out the graphics adapter and place it back in, just to make sure that there is not bad connection.

With all of the above explained, i will suggest that you start by testing the system with another screen. If the problem persists, check the connection with another cable.

If all else fails, have a look at the graphics adapter you are using.

Feel free to let me know if you need any further assistance.

Kind regards
Andrea

Switching a kenmore dryer door from right to left. I have taken off the door.. but it looks like I need to remove the plastic covering on the door to remove the hinge and install on the other side. There...

In General the deconstruction of the door is not needed. With a great deal of Kenmore dryers you can simply turn the door 180 degrees and reinstall it.

My screen is loose, i would like to know how to tighten the screen..

You can take the laptop apart, and try to tighten the screws of the hinge. But i think the hinge is worn. You can try if the warranty covers it.

Good luck, and i hope this was helpful ;)

Hinges for top cover for HP officejet 6210- Q5820A

Let me know if you find a source for replacements. In the mean time, I kept my unit working by just removing the broken top half of the hinge.
You have to remove 5 screws using a TORX T10 screwdriver. First remove the small plate covering the back of hinge on the outside. Then remove the two vertical screws at the top of the hinge up under the hinge lip. Then open the cover (be careful to hold it in place so as not to damage the three flex connections between the lid and body) and remove the other two screws at the top of the hinge. Remove the broken top half of the hinge and lower the cover back down. Until you find a replacement hinge, you can put a piece of heavy duty tape on the back where the hinge was.

Opening an older HP Scanjet 3300C case ??

I recently picked up a SJ 3300Cse and have the same issue.

On mine, on the top of the scanner near the hinges there are two small white rubber peices that are very well camoflaged. If you remove them you'll see the two screws to open the hinge side of the case.

Good Luck.

R/H door swings open too easily and hits counter behind door.

Hi LC,

Your fresh food lower door hinge cam assembly has failed and needs to be replaced. Not a big deal to replace, really... but you have to remove the FF door to get to it. <---which is VERY simple to do. But first thing first, right? You'll obviously need the replacement part on hand prior to the repair, so the part number is WR02X10779. You can see what it looks like here (you could also order it here if you don't have a local appliance parts retailer).

OK, now that you have the cam assy., Empty out all the goodies that you have stored in the FF door shelves. Then using a sturdy step stool, remove the upper hinge cover. Below the cover, you'll find three more screws, remove them (just so you know ahead of time... after you remove the last of the 3 screws, the door is no longer "attached" to the frame, so hold on to the door while removing the last one, OK?). Now all ya have to do is lean the door forward (from the top) and lift it off of the lower hinge/cam assembly.

Now that the door is off, all that's left to do is remove the old cam assy., install the new one and rebuild everything! Easy Breezy! You'll be in and out of this job within 20-30 minutes.

Oh yeah... one other thing. When you replace the door and are putting the top hinge back on, put all 3 screws in but don't tighten them yet. You'll need to "level" the door and THEN tighten them. Just lift the fridge door handle 'til the top of the door is level with the Freezer door, tighten the screws while holding the door in this position, deal? Cool.

Hope this helps!

Kenmore side by side refrigerator

If you are asking about the dispenser lever, There is a good chance it is already broke. You will need to remove the front cover. On most models, you will need a standard flat blade screwdriver and then locate the indentations on the underside of the cover trim. It takes a little force to pop the cover trim away from the door, but it will come loose. Once you have removed the cover, the dispesnser levers should be visible.
I hope this will help you to at least determine weather you can just tighten it or need to replace the lever. Please let me know if I have helped you. I can also look up the correct part and get it shipped to you.

Hope I helped

Right hinge coming apart

Maybe.
This is a normal wear and tear issue with Dell lappys.
You can take off the hinge cover (it's just above the keyboard) and attempt to tighten the hinges down.
If that doesn't work, then the hinges themselves are wearing out, and need to be replaced, so you'd have to contact dell in that case buddy.
To remove the hinge cover, find where there is a small notch or space to the right of it and put a VERY small screwdriver in that notch and pry it up. (MAKE SURE that your LCD panel is completely flat aka. completely open when doing this).
Once it pops out (it takes a little muscle, don't worry it's made of plastic it shouldn't break) then you can keep prying it up until it all just pops out. Now using a phillips small screwdriver (cross head) tighten the hinges (they'll be easy to see along with their screws).
Then, simply replace the hinge cover the same way it came off, put it into the laptop at an angle upwards going into the left side this time, and then just begin to press it downwards until it pops into place. Do this all along the hinge cover from left to right this time.
There! hopefully that helps, but even if it does the hinges will NEED replacing, the dell ones are cheap, and eventually do need to be replaced.

Compaq presario 1200

there are plastic covers over the hinges, which may be part of the faceplate. being a compaq the hinge screws are most likely torx head screws. compaq used to make a special tool for removing the plastic covers on their laptops. the tool was a bar with a piece of fiberglas circuit board embedded in it. you insert the circuit board into the groove between the top and bottom covers and twist. this is, of course after removing all of the cover screws. some of the cover screws on the display may be hidden under rubber bumpers.
