I have installed window vista yesterday and i found that i don't have web cam driver

Is your WEB cam driver is properly install?
to check it go to your device manager and see if the cam is properly updated. if not then you can get the driver for it from HP website.
if you don't have web cam application tehn you can download youcam software from the net.

I would strongly suggest you consider using the Creative AutoUpdate features which can be accessed on the above page.

try the hp website for the up to date driver for the web cam. sorry just had a look and they don.t have any windows 7 drivers for your model of laptop but you should still try the vista or xp driver which ever was your old system.

Your cam has the old driver and does not work with window 7 check with the manf. to see if they have an updated drive for it or you can try the universaal driver in window...hope that help.

To set up web cam you need driver cd. Place it in dvd/cd drive. Now connect web cam to working usb port. Then computer will notice you that it found new device and searches driver of it .install it from cd drive now you can run web cam in your computer.

Check the driver for the webcam on the manufacturers website, most drivers for vista and xp are found on the websites.

It may not be detected by windows or the device manager till the correct driver is installed and can initialize the device (Power it Up)

Try Searching Acers website for a Vista version of your driver , and be sure to make sure you pick the correct bit (ie; 32bit drivers will only work with 32bit vista, and 64 with 64)
