Front or vrear cover open - Samsung SCX 4521F All-In-One Laser Printer

Open front cover related to front cover, side cover not closed properly...If cover is ok, need to check power supply unit.

Dear its your Platemaker 4 front cover open massage i think please check its right behind the front panel,its not easy to check it first removed the panel cover side cover after that formatter board,fuser assembly you can observe that its communicate with gears,found in main engine there is small lever who controlled front cover,hope you understand.

Here are the things that a steady red light may indicate (from the Owner's Manual):

• A paper jam has occurred. To solve the problem, see "Clearing Jams in the Paper Tray". • The front cover is open. Close the front cover. • The top cover is open. Close the top cover. • The paper tray is empty. Load paper in the tray. See "Loading Paper". • A toner cartridge is not installed. Install a toner cartridge. See "Installing the Starter Toner Cartridge".
• A paper jam has occurred. Check the paper tray area.
• The front cover is open. Close the front cover.
• The top cover is open. Close the top cover.
• The paper tray is empty. Load paper in the tray.
• A toner cartridge is not installed. Install a toner cartridge.

hello check again properly.i think front cover is open
if you replace toner and didnt close front cover properly or you open it and didnt close properly.

The inner cover is a flap on the inside in front of the carriage when it is at rest when the cover us open. You had to flip the inner cover down to access the ink cartridges.
Open the cover. The inner cover is in the center and need to be flipped up.

When you open the front cover it is possible for the transfer roller assembly to remain latched against the imaging drum assembly, making it impossible to pull out the imaging drum. The drum should lift out very easily. If it doesn't, try closing the imaging drum cover and then the front cover (ie: put everything back the way it was). Then open the front cover again, pressing firmly on the front cover latch. When open, check that the transfer roller assembly stayed with the front cover and swung out of the way of the imaging drum (you may have to swing it yourself. When the front cover has opened properly, the imaging drum's cover will unlatch easily and the drum can be pulled out.

is that the front cover....if u have open front cover try to open back cover also

This is the cover which is facing you, pull it without opening any screw, you will see where to pull or read the instruction manual. Even when replacing toner you have to open this cover.

which cover are you opening? You must pull open the bottom cover not the one under the keyboard. It's the bottom front cover not the top front cover.
