this is a very good washer, if you are not getting the water out first check the belt , second check the pump the pulley on the pump should turn freely and no play in it back and forth if you notice play in the pump replace it, next how is the washer drain hose , is it in a standpipe or connected with no air gap, if you do not have an air gap you may not be able to pump the water out plus getting sewer water back in (smells) there are products out there to clean the inside of the tub (tide makes one also afresh)
This is more than likely going to be a problem with the pump. The pump is not draining water so the machine isn't progressing any further. The pump may be blocked with something or the pump is seized.

control board monitors water level in washer during and at the end of
pump out. If wash level does not reset pressure switch, it will see
water left in the washer.1.Check
for pump/drain restriction.2.Check pump operation. 3.Check pressure switch for open
contacts. 4.Check inputs and outputs at
machine control board. 5.Replace responsible component.
I have an Atlantis myself. There can be several problems. Did you check that the fill hoses in the back are not leaking? Are they tight? There are hoses inside the washer and a pump near the front. I replaced my pump last year and I,m getting ready to replace the thrust bearing assembly (spin issues). Does the washer leak with every load? make sure water is not splashing over the tub when filling. The front panel comes off if you can and leave off and watch to see where water is coming from.
I WISH I HAD SOME ANSWERS ON THIS ONE, BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR PUMP MIGHT NEED REPLACING. HOW OLD IS YOUR WASHER? IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO BUY A NEW WASHER. BUT IF IT IS THE PUMP, THEN YOU CAN BUY A NEW PUMP FROM WHERE YOU BOUGHT YOUR WASHER. GOOD LUCK.
