Cant edit the songs, unable to view

HiI am using sansa sandisk mp3 player. model m240.I am unable to open and edit the songs which i dowloaded,it is not displaying in the system

Check if the songs you transferred are mp3 or wma or try another XP service pack ( You could just try it on another pc)

There are 2 ways to delete music files. You can delete them from the player directly or
using the computer.
To delete music files directly from the Sansa player, follow these steps:
1. In playback mode, press Submenu button.
2. Select the Delete Song item.

To delete music files using the computer, follow these steps:
1. Connect your Sansa to the computer.
2. Select Open device to view files using Windows Explorer on initial connection.
3. Locate the folder where your music files are stored.
4. Highlight and delete the music files or folder.

I cant find place to add music files to my player, SanDisk Sansa m240... I go to my computer open the files and find no music library

use windows media player... open WMP connect your player it should recognize it... use this to sync music to your sansa...you highlight the songs in WMP right click ... go to add music .. select sync .. once you get the songs into a sync list ... you just sync the sansa...

I lost the driver CD of sansa m240 model sandisk MP3 player I am unable to transfer the songs from my PC to the player. kindly send the software CD.

Try another service pack on your windows XP or use Winamp ( Newest version ) To transfer music to your mp3 player.. hope it helps :)

Hi, my m240 does the same thing. I partly fixed it by going to menu\settings\reset all. Temporalily fixes it, need to do it occasionally. Still missing a lot of space though!

Probably not, try going to where the songs are all stored [My Music] select all the songs and open with the Sansa converter-to transfer music or use Windows Media Player.

Otherwise open My Computer then SansaM240 folder and drag the songs into Music.
