Ours have also stopped working (both top and bottom). Bought in 2003 so only 8 yrs old. Getting technician in to fix. Will post solution. Also whenever oven is heated up the display panel fades and is not visible (has been doing this for a couple of years)
According to the crappy manual: -SE- An error of the oven may cause low performance and problems in safety. Stop using oven immediately and call service man. Means very little I know.
Had a similar problem. The overheat sensor had failed to the open position and the oven control would light up and you could set the temp, but it would drop to 100 degrees and then go blank.
