How to repair drive pedal kirby


You will need to remove upper cover ,then remove the three screws
holding the trans in. Slide out the old drive pedal reuse the cam arm
and install new pedal. Slide trans back in and reinstall belt,reinstall rear screw first then the other two . replace cover and test N/D pedal.

My g7 will not pick up anything


Without more information, my first guess is a worn or broken fan. You can take it to a shop and have it replaced, or buy one from a Kirby store and replace it yourself. There are also on-line stores where you can purchase impellers.

Kirby g5 techdrive n/d pedal came off will not stay on


The pedal will need to be replaced. A shift mechanism pressed on the end of the shaft has come off and cannot be re-installed. The drive unit must be removed from the machine, and the pedal assembly and shift cam can then be replaced. This may not be a do-it-yourself repair, as a good deal of disassembly is required.
