Four pages print out for every page I select to print

When I hit CTRL and P to print the current page I am on for some reason two practically blank pages print, and then the page that I wanted to print out prints, and then another almost blank page prints. This is such a waste of paper (three pages wasted for every page I want printed). Do you know what might be the problem and how to fix it?

On some pages ,at the top of the page there is the word print and it allow youto acess your printer ,other places on the computer ther is no word printer ,how do I acess my printer?

In the upper Left-hand corner of your browser scrreen, Click on "File" (or type ALT-f) to get the
File drop-down menu.
Then select one of the 3 printing options:
1) Page setup
2) Print Preview
3) Print (Ctrl-P)

Alternatively, you could just type Ctrl-P (by holding down the "Ctrl" key then pressing "p")
whenever you want to print the current page.

Prints blank pages

hi jcruisedirec

Test print shows that there is no problem with he printer.
Do this:

Type just one or two words in a new document and try to print. Before printing, look at the print setup and make sure you have the correct printer name selected.
Also when you go to print, there are few options like:

  • Print All
  • Current page
  • Pages
  • Selection
If you attempt to print "selection" without actually selecting a certain portion of the document, you get blank page.
So first check that the correct name of the printer is selected.
Then test printing one page
Hope this will help you. Good luck.

The printer is issuing blank sheets - every other sheet being dispensed by printer is blank - i.e. without printed data

This could happen if the text you are sending to the printer spills over slightly onto a new page. To test for this, press Ctrl-P and select "Current Page." This will insure that only one page is being sent.

Printer has started spitting out one clean page for every page that is being printed. That is, if I have a two-page document to be printed, it spits out four pages, two pages without anything on them, and...

Go to START, Printer & Faxes, right click your printer and select properties. Under the advanced tab, click seperator page, delete whatever is in the box and click OK. This should stop the blank pages from printing.

Hope this helps

Dell 926 aio printer

Before you serve it with .45 I'd like to suggest that in any case if you are having an old black cartridge then put it inside the chamber and shoot your print command to your printer. I'm sure it will solve your alignment problem. Later, open any coloured doc, hit ctrl plus P and go to option menu search for grayscale and select it. If you will shoot your command at this appropriate time It will deffinetly work. If its not working you are most welcome to comment back I've one more solution left for you.
