Kindle keyboard is not lighting up

If you need to install Google play on your Kindle Fire HD, root your Kindle Fire device at first. However, you can't root it like other Android device with one click rooting tool - iRoot, Framaroot, Kingo Root... The rooting process may be a little complicated while it's effective and safe.

Afterwards, install the Google play. Open run.bat. Choose option 6 and install it.

You will have to install the PC version of the game and maybe you can transfer the saved file of all the games you have played on the kindle. It may or may not work,

Where do you live?
If you live in the UK then you use amazon.co.uk
If you live in France then you can use amazon.fr or amazon.com

You can buy phisical things anywhere. ebooks can only be purchased in your home territory for publishing/legal reasons.

You may need to go to Manage My Kindle and check where you Kindle is registered - if it is registered in the UK then that is why - change that to France if you live in France.

Perhaps the app is no longer compatible with the software version of the kindle

Many programs dont work well on Kindle no matter what they tell you. The free ones are pretty much a waste land I have found. The Kindle is a great tool, dont get me wrong they really intended it for movie watching, an books. It is no iPad that for sure. I dont know how old he is but he would have been better off just purchasing a game system. They market this stuff for everyone an the real market is for a limited group. Some games are nice, but most dont work as advertised. Tetris is a game that does not play well on Kindle. Delete the game if its free as soon as he has problems. Some times the programmer will write back an say well you need to get the paid version. How well I know that one. Some calculators I downloaded for free were mot accurate in scientific mode. How useful is that. He did not get a bad product, it just is mot a gaming system as the Sony an Nintendo type handhelds. Check out some forums to find which games do work with it well. It truly is a wonderful product.

Step one, download advanced task killer. It works great. When down loaded set the security level in the app to "low", the kill level to "aggressive", and the app kill rate to "whenever screen is off". reset your Kindle. (turn completely off, then back on) Try using your games again if that doesnt work then u might reinstall a game or two and see if that makes a difference. My fire did the same thing to me. Alot of time apps will run in the background and eat all of the RAM (memory) up and when you try to run games there isnt enough to do so. I had the same problem trying to play jetpack joy ride

My Kindle Touch had the same problem but the solution is quite simple:
All you have to do is restart your Kindle Touch by tapping Menu then Settings then Menu again, then Restart. Hope it works on yours as it did on mine.

if they sidebar works and you don't have an image on the screen, you definitely need a new screen. Amazon should give you a free replacement.
