Vr213 put in a tape with a movie on it and all i get is static lines. it was working a few months ago i do not use it a lot . i can bring up the menu on the screen. what can be [email protected]

Can you hear a hiss or static?

NO...usually means speakers are disconnected..often loose socket at rear of radio or broken wiring


YES...Hiss means either blown speaker, faulty radio or faulty aerial.

If you have tape or CD as well , this will prove whether it is the aerial or not.

HISS with CD or tape playing means faulty radio or speakers

WORKING OK with CD or tape means faulty aerial

Pop your camera in a Jessops Camera shop, they sorted one out for me very fast few months ago.

Samsung BD P-3600 Blu-Ray is 6 months old and won't play bonus features as of a month ago. I hear a few seconds of audio with black screen, then it jumps to player menu and won't do anything else until I turn it off and back on. Update is current.

anyone using the front usb ports on your pc, don't! use the rear usb's in the back of the pc and presto, works great! best thirteen dollars i ever spent! and also don't use the ulead software, my there was a delay in the video for the voices, windows movie maker is the way to go for capture!!

The answer to this is simple....SP every time. That is of course you want to cram lots of programmes on to one tape and if that is so, then use LP.
LP slows the tape to half of normal speed and therefore sound and vision are slightly compromised. For maximum quality, SP.

Problem is dirty / clogged video head of v-8 player or camcorder what ever you are using for playback. Use good quality video head cleaning cassette for head cleaning.
Please check tapes on another camcorder as tapes seems OK.

If your microwave oven is ONLY 1 month old and there is any question with its performance, it should still be under warranty from the manufacturer so I would bring it back to where you purchased it and have them provide a replacement of have them demonstrate that the one youi have is working to spec. Conversely, if you put large potatoes in the microwave, they havea lot of mass to them and will need to cook for quite a while.. Have you tried anything else in there of smaller proportions and those did not cook? You should be able to boil a cup of room temp water in a minute or two.. If that fails.. bring it back..

Someone here recommended on another post to put the lense cap on & videotape the blackness in a quiet room for 5-10 mins. I tried this as a last resort & it worked. When I played back the tape, no more skipping or gray lines. I had 4-5 SOLID gray lines with skipping video & audio in between on every tape I put in. I think the person who helped me solve this said that it was a result of the tape alignment going off.

Hello Nick, please purchase special mini DV tape for head cleaning. After a treatment with this tape you can check if there is an improvement with other tapes. If you need more info please advice. Arpi
