SOURCE: I have the Canon LS-100TS

Try switching between business and tax mode, the little toggle switch at the top of the calculator.

If that doesn't work repost.

Hope that helps

How to increase the decimal places in the answer

Press 2ndF TAB then a digit representing the number of digits after the decimal point. See "Adjusting the Displayed Decimal Places" beginning on page 7 of this manual: http://www.fixya.com/support/p193841-sharp_el_733a_calculator/manual-5340.

That's the page numbered "7" in the manual, not the seventh page of the PDF file.

Decimal placing

Above the feed button is an area for controlling the decimal placement. By leaving the slider on +, you have to manually put the decimal in.
0 - Means no decimal will be placed.
1 - Put it one place to the end. Ex: 4132.5
2 - Will make it read 413.25
3 - Will be 41.325

And so on.

Canon f-502 user guide number of desmial places need to change

Hello,
I have not been able to find a link to an online manual (Canon does not have it)
What I am going to suggest comes from my personal experience with calculators.
To change the number of decimal places, try
[2nd][FIX] n where n is the number of decimal places you want.
Hope it helps.

I found this solution on the HP website. Turn it on, and do what it says. Then turn it off and back on again, and the extra decimal places should show.

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?dlc=en&lc=en&cc=us&docname=bpia5183 Introduction This document describes how to set the desired number of decimal places on the HP 12C Calculator in standard format and in scientific notation. Instructions for standard format
  1. Press and release the gold PREFIX key (f).
  2. Press the number key for the desired number of decimal places (0 through 9).
The display will show the specified number of decimal places. The answer will be rounded to the number of digits selected.
