Burnt fish smell in microwave

Mix vinegar and water in a small container, set timer for 60 seconds and start the microwave, when it starts to steam it will bond to the interior, at that point dis-engauge microwave oven, if smell is still present open a small box of baking soda let sit for 24 hours in the oven before use.

Microwave smells like burnt wire

When you smell something wire is burnt..The first that needs to check is the inside wiring. You need to open the back portion of your oven to further see whats the problem behind..You can unplug from the source and using a MULTITESTER.Check both terminals setting yuor TESTER to OHMS value. If the TESTERS pointer moves a little it means its not short-circuited ans if otherwise moves to its maximum amount it means it is short-circuited that needs to be repaired..Wiring might have been burnt. If you gonna continue using it it might lead to further complications of defects.Try to check the motor that turns the turntable..check the heating filament.hope this helps.

Our GE dishwasher has been working fine for years. Now it is tripping the braker? all wiring is good right to the dishwasher. We did smell burnt wires but it went away.?????

Your dishwasher may be damaged beyond repair. When I installed the dishwasher in my home I found that there is a surprising number of wires bundled under the dishwasher. If you are skilled in that field you can pull the dishwasher out and try to repair the damaged wiring under the machine. However once you've smelled burned wiring it means that there are potentially significant problems in there. You aren't smelling the burnt wires anymore because the damage is so great it's just tripping the breaker. If you continue to try and force the machine to work in this situation you may end up with a fire and further damage.

Please be careful.

Smells like burnt wires

It is very possible it may have burnt wire or burnt capacitor. Remove unit, remove top cover and look inside to see if you see any burn marks or burnt wires. Also check fuse to see if it is good or not.

Burnt Rubber Smell then Off

That would most likely be a problem with the inverter or magnetron.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

I would recommend that you contact your nearest Panasonic-authorized servicer.
