Lost 120 volts on coachmen Somerset dreamcatcher 32.5 while hooked up to power pole. still have 12 volts.all converter fuses and power panel circuit breakers good. Power from pole is good.

First, I'm not a Coachmen RV Tech. (but most DC to AC inverters are not brand specific.)
* Check inverter fuse (on actual inverter frame). Replace.
* Check DC voltage at inverter. Should be 12 (or 24 VDC) depending on your system battery supply and inverter.
* Check the DC cable connections; crusty, dirty? Cut all power. Remove and clean terminals. Re-connect and check.
* DC okay? Check 110 VAC power at output of inverter. No power? Replace inverter. (possible power spike damaged it or it over heated)
* 110 VAC okay? Check the power panel breakers. If stuck in middle then turn all the way off to reset and turn all the way back on to activate. Check AC power at outlet(s)
* Still no power (at outlet)? Check all outlets. If some still works then there is a problem with the power (wires) distribution. You will need an electrician to trace the wires back to the break in circuit.
* Be safe. check your warranty and call for service.
* Note; your inverter may be on a separate warranty.

Hyundai tucson crdi cut out,all power lost cruise into lay-by dashboard lights all on , but no power will not turn over. 10 mins later all okay? new battery 4 months ago connections okay!

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You need to check your ignition fuse. Make sure it has not blew. Check closely for burnt wires in the fuse housing. I would advise you to take it to have it put on a machine. You could have an electrical issue. If left alone, it may get worse. It sounds like a power surge or something. A good diagnostic test may find your problem. You could have a bad wire somewhere. You need to test all your wires with a voltage meter when it acts like this and again when it is all better. I would check the charging system. Check for loose wires/connections in the charging system.

No eletercal power to the bike it has a new battery installed properly

Okay,,with the old battery...,was everything working or same thing?

First recheck the cable connections at the battery.....all okay?

Next check would be your main fuse.....remove the left rear floorboardd, and the black plastic cover...you'll see the 30 amp main fuse there.

CHECK BATTERY CABLES FOR CLEANESS FROM CORROSSION AND TIGHT CONNECTION. IF NO POWER GOING TO STARTER COULD BE FAULTY STARTER RELAYOR FUSE ALSO BAD OPEN SOLENOID.IF ALL IS GOOD FAULTY PARK AND NEUTRAL SWITCH WILL CAUSE NO START PROBLEMS.IF DASH LIGHTS DONT COME ON WHEN YOU TURN IGNITION SWITCH ON CHECK IGNITION FUSE IF OKAY.FAULTY IGNITION SWITCH WILL CAUSE NO POWER TO STARTER.

Kenmore electric dryer model #11062812100 10 in of water in basem

check where the power cord enters the machine, there is a terminal block and that may be a problem there, check the thermal fuse located on the vent housing,it could be a corroded high resistance connection from the water to the control board, unplug unit and remove each connector even the ribbon cables to the controls as if they get a bad connection they cant transfer a signal to operate the machine

The amp just quit. will not power back up.

Ok there is a few steps to check in this case.
1. Make sure the positive cable is secured proply on the battery termnial also while you are there as well check to make sure the fuse on the positive cable isn't blown.

2.Make sure your ground cable is secured proply down on the frame of the car or if you are runing a negitive cable back to the battery(the same apply,s as step 1 - less the fuse).

3.Check to make sure the remote turn on cable is not lose on the amp connection.

Hope this will help a bit.

I have an issue.. my battery died yesterday the guy who jumped my car messed up and attached the jumper cables wrong on his battery. Now my kenwood excelon ddx 7015 wont turn on at all do you think it is...

Hello Melissa,

The first thing I would check is if your fuse is okay. If your fuse is blown replace and try to turn on the radio. If the fuse is good have the radio taken out and have it bench tested. take the power wire and the memory wire put them together and apply power to them then take the black wire and connect it to ground if the radio turns on then its okay and he fried something else. If the radio doesn't turn on then chances are that he fried it.

You can use a car battery to test your radio or a portable boost jumper.

Hope this helps you.

No power!

okay, this seems like either the fuse hase blown in the actual mains plug, or the mass fuse inside the device, it looks like this very small glass fuse, same size as an ordinary fuse, its just seethrough. see if you can get a replacement for it, you may need 2 open the unit to check if it has blown, it will be black or a "burnt" colour from inside! if you dont want to open it, take it to any electronics store, they are bound to check for you, but these fuses don't cost more that $1 or 50pence!

hope this helps
