Pyrox heater pilot - Vulcan Heating & Cooling

To access the anchor points on a Pyrox Firestar HE324M inbuilt gas heater, you will need to remove the front

1. Turn off the gas supply to the heater and disconnect the power supply.
2. Carefully remove any decorative trim or surrounds that may be covering the front panel.
3. Locate the screws or clips that are holding the front panel in place. These may be located at the top and bottom of the panel or along the sides.
4. Using a screwdriver or a suitable tool, loosen and remove the screws or clips to release the front panel.
5. Carefully lift the front panel off the heater, being careful not to damage any of the internal components.
6. The anchor points should now be visible. They are typically located at the corners of the heater, near the bottom.

Yes is also sometimes used as a tilt switch to prevent the heater from falling face forward and causing a fire

sound like faulty thermocouple lead safety device this allows gas to flow to pilot and when hot should hold open the gas valve for the main burner if faulty the gas is cut off

The pilot light has a thermocouple that allows gas to the pilot light while the flame is burning. If flame goes out it shuts gas off to the pilot jet. The thermocouple is bypassed by a switch during the initial ignition and once the thermocouple warms up after a minute or two of holding in the bypass switch, it should maintain the pilot. It seems that your thermocouple is faulty and needs to be replaced if pilot light keeps going out.

check too see if pilot is clean and check air ports to pilot could be blocked

Clean the burners out with air pressure,like from a air tank,and a blow gun,then clean the pilot light orifice(this is where the pilot light is)if this does not help,replace the thermocouple ,it will be the problem,if this was at all helpful,please rate,thank you.

my pyrox wall furnace has a digital pad it turns off & on but i cant turn the heat or fan uo or down its 4 weeks old

What did you find out about this code? did you contact Pyrox? ask them the code meaning. if it is a need for a tech then thats the way to go they should be able to advise you.
