Lt280 adjust colour alignment - NEC MultiSync LT280 LCD Projector

Whe the lamp exceeds 2100 hours (up to 3100 hours in ECO mode) of service, the projector cannot turn onand the menu is not displayed. If this happens, press the HELP button on the remote for 10 seconds to reset the lamp clock back to zero. When the lamp clock is reset to zero, the LAMP indicator goes out.

Follow the instructions to align the colours try automatic align first, if no improvement select manual alignment.

You could try to remove and reinstall your color cartridge again.Do a Clean Cartridges cycle.Then do an Align Cartridges cycle.

Select the Menu, then RESET function, then CLEAR LAMP HOURS.

The alignment process prints one page, and then you put that page into the scanner. The scanner reads the page, compares the actual alignment with the optimal alignment, and adjusts the printer, in order to produce "sharp" (opposed to "fuzzy") colour pictures.

replace the vga/dvi cable and try that.

swap the cables and reset the settings to factory default. if that doesn't help, you may need to replace the polarizers.

Read the manual that came with the printer.
The printer can adjust itself so that the colours print _precisely_
in the correct position, to make colour pictures look best.
Do the "alignment" process -- it may be as simple as printing one page,
and then inserting the page into the scanner.

you can try adjusting the convergence using the remote, if auto convergence and manual won't straighten the red out you will need the convergence ICs replaced

you will need to change out the convergence board if the blue and green wont align its time for a new board
