I know on my samsung it's right on top when you take off the outer cover. I also have an emerson and it's on the right side behind the control panel There is a white plastic cover over the fuse that just snaps apart.. I buy my fuses at radio shack. I know mine takes a 20 amp 250 volt.

Emerson mw810255 how do i check fuse? where do i

15A & 20A ceramic fuses can be had locally in most grocery stores, hardware stores, home improvement centers, and big box or department stores.

Your fuse can be tested with a test light, continuity tester, multimeter, etc.

You should also check the thermal cutout / thermostat on the magnetron in your oven is truly dead.

Emerson MW9111 will not heat- all timers & clock work

Normally when you take the cover off, the fuse will be on the right of the oven on the circuit board.

Microwave oven will not turn on. no light, no display.

First check breaker at breaker panel. Then if you remove the front vent and key pad you will find a paper with breakdown of unit. Look for fuse, check with a tester, if bad replace, if not check all cavity switches, approx 3 or 4, test these. One of these three checks should solve your problem.

Need a replacement fuse for an Emerson Microwave Model MW8774

Please understand there are some liability issues that Emerson or their parts supplier have in selling you the fuse.

You should be able to find one by going online and searching with the terms you gave, using Google. I just did, and there are a number of hits to choose from.

Try Sears Parts Direct or Repair Clinic as well. You will need to enter your model number to find the parts listing.

In all likelihood, you have a failed controller board or microwave circuit (magnetron, transformer, diode, capacitor). Be prepared for additional troubleshooting.

REPLACE THE FUSE WITH AN EXACT REPLACEMENT> DO NOT REPLACE WITH A LARGER (more amps) FUSE TYPE.

Call any service center that services appliances or most any electronics parts supplier. You will have to know the specs of the thermo fuse to order one.

If the thermo fuse is blown, most likely there was an overheating condition, and there is a failure somewhere. This can be a serious safety issue. When you change the fuse, it may blow again. It would be best to verify the specifications and for proper operation of the unit before using it again. A qualified service center for microwave ovens can do this for you.

Broken turntable support

Microwave-safe epoxy would be better than super glue, which will will emit fumes.

You would be better off getting a new one if it's truly available.

Tritronics (http://www.wehaveparts.com) shows it as part # M0R0282 (no rollers included) and the rollers are part #

M0R0272. You rrollers may work if they're okay.
