This job is best done by service tech. You have to know what your doing to be able to charge a system. Plus you have to have EPA card to handle Refrigerant. You need to call service tech. Remember if you have to put gas in there isa leak. Make sure they look for one if you ahve it recharged. A unit can run forever on the same gas. Cost of chargeing an AC can very from 100 to 300 dollars. My suggestion is to ask for a free estimate. So you know up front what it will cost. Rus

My corona air conditioner inverter does not produce hot air

these are all in one units, some of them are made like smaller central units and some of these are separate ac and heat units. the heat in the separate ones is run off of a heat strip in the unit it's self the ones that are made like a central unit reverse the flow of the freon in the system to draw the heat from outside. this is not something you can repair very easily yourself. most places require because of the freon that you have a certified HVAC technician to work on them.

My A/C blowing air, but it is not cool. It has started freezing up. We just replaced the air filters and since then it is freezing up. We even gently cleaned the a/c coils before replacing the filters. ...

Hello, sounds like it is either a low charge or lack of airflow, what type of filter are you using? sometimes those filters that claim to be super effecient will actually cut down on your airflow and cause the ac to freeze up.

I have a ac central unit that has freon put in it, but it still blows out hot air inside the house.

Need a bit more info. Do you hear the compressor come on? Is your Tstat in the cooling mode? Shut it down for a minute and turn it back on. you should hear the indoor fan come on . outside fan come on and the compressor come on the sametime as the out door fan comes on.. Freon is just a gas that is used to exchange heat .

My heat unit will not blow hot air unless we go outside and hit a button on the back bottom of the unit. Once we do that it will blow hot air for that cycle. when it is time for it to come on it is cold...

If it does not have a furnace or heating elements for heating, then it is a heat pump, which is rare for a central AC system, but makes sense of the fact that it blows warm air when you reset the pressure switch, which may indicates freon pressure charge problem if your AC system has a reverse valve and uses freon to for heating (heat Pump).

Do you get heating when outside unit runs? if you do, check freon pressure levels and top up to required pressures. The button you depress is a pressure reset switch ... that is if your AC system is a heat pump ... which, as pointed above, it is not common for central ACs.

Intermittent heat

It sounds like the unit has lost its first stage of Heat (It uses the outside unit to bring heat in with freon) When the thermostat is put 3deg higher than room temp it uses Heat Pump and heat strips, this is probably the only time yours heats. Have it checked as you will pay a lot on next month's electric bill.
