Answering machine will not pick up correctly. Rings off hook then callers hear "please enter your security code". All settings appear to be normal, its set for 4 rings, you can hear our outgoing message, etc. Any ideas? Customer support will not help, as its an older model.

If DSL is in use are you using a line filter on the Answering machine ?
