I have Bauhn DVD Maker and cannot install it because I cannot find the Licence Key No on the manual does anyone know what it should look like and where it should be found

You should ask license for you application from provider. We at Fixya can't give you any license.

Can you read a disc from that drive? Has the drive ever worked for writing to discs? Windows has some weird restrictions when it comes to DVD/CD writers. I've seen drives not allow writing because the version of Windows was not genuine. Have you ever changed the region setting of the drive?

The key is generally contained on a sticker inside the DVD box. Its twenty five characters long (five blocks of five).

Each licence may be installed on up to three machines (within the family unit, or thereabouts)

Unfortunately(!), due to the way Microsoft licences its products, there is a step which requires online validation, which means that any attempts to send you a key via this service will render it useless within 5 minutes of posting. (You can download the software from Microsoft for a trial - the whole value of the product is in the licence key).

Your "most obvious" choices are :
1) Find the DVD box, and the sticker with the licence key on it.
2) Buy a disk on ebay, with a "1 licence key left" kind of description - around $20 (not in any sense of the word legal by microsofts licence terms, but they don't seem to punish it, as at least its an official product). Make sure you don't leave feedback before you've registered it, as there are sharks out there.
3) Find someone with a spare licence (on their three pack), and establish a private email with them to get the key.

All of these choices work - what I would recommend is resisting the temptation to use any key provided freely on a public forum.

Hello. Some softaware used some unique datafrom your computer to generate licence key for the software (like HARD DRIVE serial number or motherboard serial number) and if your licence is generated by this algorhytm then your licence will be not valid anymore. You will need to contact software manufacturer and ask them about that. I hope this will help you :)
