First thing to try is a descale. Run the machine normally using it (as if making a cup of both types) a couple of times with a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water. Leave the machine off but uncleaned overnight. run a couple of cycles with just water, and if there is still a slight vinegar taste then run a cycle with a teaspoon of baking soda in water, then flush with just water again. If this doesn't solve the problem, try again with 75% vinegar. If still not working, there is either a control board problem (may be solveable), or the valve/solenoid that stops/allows the water is sticking, almost certainly solveable by taking that apart and cleaning/lubricating. Definitely solveable by replacement. Let me know what you get after a descale if no luck. Hope this helps :)

Nespresso latisimo plus 4 lights keep flashing when switch on and just switches off?

Try pressing and holding all four buttons down, then, while still holding the four buttons down, turn the machine on with the power switch. This should return the machine to its factory settings. If you've had the machine for a year or more it may need descaling, but the Cappuccino button usually glows orange when this is necessary. Hope this helps - good luck!

Cappuccino and latte macchiato buttons blinking

The unit is heating the steam - the lights should switch to contant once the right temperature is reached. Make sure to always descale the machine if the cappuccino button light turns orange.

Krups FNA2 doesn't draw water!

If it sounds like a pumping noise but louder then it may mean that the pump is bone dry and needs to be primed. You need to find an imaginative way to force water into the socket that the tank engages with. A clear hose of the correct size with water already in it and then press the button and blow into the other end of the pipe. Once the valves are immersed in water it should start to function.

Orange light on delonghi nespresso

Sorry chaps, all these suggestions are wrong. The orange light on the small cappuccino button means the unit needs to be descaled. See Nespresso support to download the user guide and you'll see this explained there

Nespresso u, all the lights are flashing and the pod doesn't release automatically.

The machine has started the "decalcification" process.
When the three lights are flashing just press the three buttons at the same time (with three fingers) and relase when you hear a beep. After that your all good.
This happens when you press the three buttons at the same time when cleaning for example.
Hope it helps!

I need to know if the Concept FNA2 41 Nespresso machine is double insulated or not. I am Portable Appliance testing in Queen's University Belfast, and none of the metal parts of the aforementioned is...

here , double insulated machine only have an active and a neutral pin in the power cable
you can test by testing for continuity between the active and the metal and neutral and the metal
if it has a 3 pin plug consider as not double insulated

Inspiron 1200 battery light continually flashing orange

If your battery LED flashes or is solid Yellow or Amber color, this usually indicates battery is beginning to go bad. Eventually it will not hold a charge and will need to be replaced.
