Re: erorr in installing the printer
Need more info, sounds like nothing to do with a printer, sounds like you ae trying to install something on your pc and it needs the .exe file placed where it can find it on your computer hard drive that is labeled "DR9".

Insert the first disk and go to My Computer, right click your disk drive (probably D:\) and select Autorun if available, if not right click the disk drive and click Explore and then find the icon that either says Install.exe or Setup.exe and double click it then follow the prompts.

if your harddrive is ide then simple connect it to slave mode and xp get it aito there is nodisk need.
so pls clear
but always the disk on which os is installed is master mode.
