Watch beeps every hour on the hour

often this is a setting on the watch face. in my experience it is a bell looking object. for most sport watches, pressing a combination of the start and stop buttons will effect this setting. More Detail on the particular watch and i can be of more help

How do you set the time on an Armitron 165 wrist-watch?

Hi wtgillo,

Hi there I see that you are in need of assistance setting time on your Armitron Wrist watch.

I would be more than glad to give you details on how to, Please see steps below.

Your Armitron Watch will have Four Button on the side of the watches rim.
Button on the upper Left is MODE.
Button on the lower Left is LIGHT.
Button on the upper right is DATE.
Button on the lower right is Alarm.

See Steps below:
*Setting the time*

Press and Hold down the Mode Button til the Hours flash
Then push Alarm Button to set the Hours
Press and Hold down the Date Button till the Minutes flash, then push D/Alarm Button to set the minutes
After setting the minutes on your watch, Press date till you get the month flashing push Alarm to set the month
Press the Date again till the Date flashes, then push Alarm to set date
Press the Date again till the Date on your watch flashes, then push Alarm to set the date
After setting everything push the Mode Button again just once to set everything or finalize your settings on the watch.

I can't figure out how to set the time on this rousseau watch.

go to "www.rousseauwatches.com" and select "collection" and scroll through their watches to find yours.

Click on the picture and details will appear on the right. Included in the details are instructions.

Go to the Boluva web site (boluva.com). select your area and then go to "collection".

Find your watch and click on it to get more details. On he details page you should find "operating instructions" for your watch.

You can get a set of instructions from their web site "citizen.com", select "technical support" and the "setting instructions" and then enter the details off the back of your watch.

You will then be able to download instructions.

Gently pull on the "knob" on the side of the watch. You may have to get your fingernails between the watch edge and the knob. It will pull out a little bit, then a little more. One position will change the time. The other position will change the date (if it has a date function) If it has multiple knobs/buttons, it is typically the one on the right side that doesn't have smooth edges.
