How do I reset a BOSS amplifier - Sony XM-475GSX Car Audio Amplifier

Check the power pack and the fuse to make sure the are working but if the are not okay then take the car audio amplifier to audio mechanic.

You need a 30 amp fuse according to Boss Audio's owners manual.

400 watts RMS

is what the ratings on that iss you can also check the website at www.boss.com but you should be looking at 400watt RMS if I am not mistaken.

YEAH THATS A DECENT AMPLIFIER AS LONG AS YOUR SUBS DONT REQUIRE ALOT OF POWER YOU SHOULD BE FINE

If you want to turn it off - Simply disconnect the remote wire or pull the fuse.

If it is turning off - there is a problem. Thermal shutdown, Grounded Voicecoil or wire, or load us under rated impedence.

Disconnect the subwoofer and power up the amplifier.

Any repairs will have to be from a service center, as repair parts and diagrams are not available from BOSS. The repar may end up being more than a replacement would cost.

What info do you need? All amps are exactly the same and the manual only differs for specific specs and db ratings!!

Was the "fault" light on when she popped? There is no reset I'm aware of...they have a bad circuit if overloaded...meaning run below 13.7V for more than a minute or two. Can only be fixed at an electronics repair shop...sorry

boss sucksss if you get one throw it up on craigslist and sell it to some ****** then buy something with higher rms.
