Water pools under the veggie crisper

I have a Whirlpool ref with icemaker, model # ET18GKXGW01. I've noticed water dripping from inside the refrigerator and pooling under the veggie compartments. I've tried to remove the two compartments, and felt some ice at the back. Can you please advise me on what to do? Thanks!

Yoor problem is with the drain, when your refrig goes into self defrost the water melted from the defrost needs some where to go. There is a drain for this purpose....it is normally a tube that leads from the rear of freezer to pan by compressor. when this gets blocked the water has nowhere to go except into the freezer vent and down the bottom of the refridge compartment. you will need to clear the blockage in the drain tube...if you are still haveing a problem i can tell you how.

Water comes off somewhere in the bottom of my fridge. what could have caused it?

When your refrig goes into defrost , the water runs down the back of the refrig ( inside ) and out to the drip pan thru a drain hole under the crispers . If water is under the crispers , remove the crispers and you should see a " cap " covering the drain hole . Sometimes crud will cover the slots where the water is supposed to drain , causing water to pool under the crispers . Just remove this cap , clean , and reinstall .

Water leaking from icemaker on outside

If this is your water dispenser leaking
Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

I have a whirlpool refrigerator where water pools under the veggie crispers. It looks like it is coming from the freezer. The unit does not have an ice maker and I suspect a drain line is clogged. Any...

Freezer on top? If so remove rear panel from freezer inside and check drain under evaporator. If clogged, use hot water and turkey baster to squirt water and thaw out drain. DO NOT use sharp instrument to pry ice out. You can use a blow dryer to help thaw as well. Turkey baster helps to jet hot water in drian.

Water leaking along back interior to bottom under & over veggie bins

Sounds like the drain to the drip pan is clogged -- maybe with ice.

Defrost water runs down to a drain in the bottom of the fridge and into a pan underneath where it evaporates.

Sounds like the defrost water is not reaching its final destination.

Here's the way the same problem was solved earlier today:

For those who have this problem with this model: The drip pan is in an open space on the back side of the refrigerator. There is a rubber spout that empties into it. But to clear clogs...you must take out the shelves from the freezer, unscrew and remove the back panel on the inside of the freezer. There you will see the water exit. Boiling water cleared it out.

Refrigerator/ water collecting under veggie bins

sounds like you do have a clogged drain tube, its self defrosting but the defrost water is pooling under hte crispers instead of in the drain pan under unit.so you ll either have to remove hte rear panel of freezer and locate the drain trough/ tube, and defrost it allowing for water to drain down, o rclear all the tube leading down to the drain pan.

Water pooling under my express thaw bin in bottom of refrigerator

no connection between lower drawer and water dispenser, however there is a water tank behind the crisper's storing water for the dispenser, its possible that there is a hole in the tank or a connection is leaking there and dripping water. remove all 3 crisper's and give a look at it. try getting water from dispenser while your checking (Might only leak when water dispenses
