What does a black screen with a white line mean ?

Sounds like the graphics card just died. You will need that repaired.

Unplug it,then wait 10 minutes,then plug it back in.

Well the white screen means that the capacitor is having problems and needs to be replaced then.

Black screen after clicking a picture means aperture motor not working or lens flexible circuit damaged, it has to be checked by expert technician & is replaceable part.

Try plugging it in and turning it on.
If it is the same, we call that busted.
Buy a new projector.
If it was totally black, it might be a burned out bulb. A white line means it is busted.

what im thinking is that 1. you might neeed to buy a new screen or 2. the LCD ribbon might of smuggled out. but i think more about having to buy a new screen

if those lines are in the LCD screen of your camera but no in the picture itself, that means that the pixels in the screen  are damaged.

Psu is a Power Supply issue but the black screen with a blinking white line is not.
The blinking white line can mean there is no instructions to tell the Computer to boot up. Which could be possibly the system battery (cmos) or Hard Drive.
I would narrow those 3 things down first.

you need to replace the screen because that means that you liquid matrix display ( LCD ) is already busted.

Does the phone still work? can you make calls? If so, yes, a screen replacement will work.

A white screen usually means no signal is being received by the screen. A black screen means the lcd back light probably died.
