Want to correct a system error E246 on canon IR1600 - Fixya

It`s a sensor on the drum unit. Check if shutter works corretly.

When the ROM Error message is displayed on the control panel, this will indicate an issue with the Flash DIMM on the Image Processor PCB.

re-flash the system software/or replace the DIMM Assembly.
When replacing the DIMM, you may be required to flash the system software to it's latest version.
iR 1600/2000 FG6-9978-000, Dimm assembly.

As a temporary work around, power on the iR while holding down the STOP key. This may boot the iR to a ready state and copies can be made.

677 error is printer board error.u check conection( lpt port or usb cable loose conection.printer board loose conection.remove all conection and conect all conection i mean reinsert conection ) then this error come u will service u r printer board(re insolve printer softwere).803 error is expouser lamp end side blocked change u r lamp u r 803 problem is ok

You'll need to replace the fuser unit. Not exactly the cheapest part of the machine...

Unless, that it, you were taking things apart and happened to unplug something accidentally. If you take the cover off where the paper comes out, look at the connectors directly inside there under the black piece of paper that you'll see. If one of those are pulled out, it could cause the problem.

Otherwise you need to replace the fuser unit.
