Canon Typestar 10ii Ink Ribbons

I assume that you are talking about a Canon Canola P1016D calculator.
It uses an ink roller. Very slowly -- they last a long time.
I need to replace the roller in mine, so I've been googling like crazy. The solutions I've found have been in Europe -- expensive especially when you include shipping.

1) Pelikan 335685. They are a well-thought of German pen and ink manufacturer link. There is also a 2 pack but given how long they last, a 1 pack seems better. I don't know how to order them in Canada.

2) BCW. They have two listings for this calculator but one is wrong. Here is the right one. It's a 3 pack.

remove the printer cover, insert one spool on the left side pin, guide the ribbon though printer and inset other spool on right pin. make sure the ribbon looks like a C with the ribbon coming around the outside of each spool.

Replacement Ribbon/Roller : NUK-BR80C

Remove the paper tape by pulling it back out of the calculator.

Feel along the back of the calculator right below where you insert the paper tape for a ridge. Gently lift up on this ridge and a plate will lift out of the machine exposing the ribbon.

Make a note to yourself as to how the old ribbon is in the machine before removing the old ribbon. Just gently lift straight up on both of the spools and the ribbon will lift out of the machie.

When you insert the new ribbon make sure that the ribbon is feeding off of the back side of both spools. You can use a small screwdriver or toothpick etc to position he new ribbon to keep the ink off of your fingers. Make sure the new ribbon feeds around the plates on both sides of the machine and it fits behind the roller that has all the numbers on it and that the red portion of the ribbon is on the bottom.

Take the plastic plate that you removed first and insert the tabs in the front underneath edge of the case on the front and gently push the back side of the plate straight down till it smaps into place.

Refeed the paper tape back into the machine and you are finished!
